This is a trial set of felting needles for needle felting.
It includes two types of spiral needles (purple and light blue),
a twisted star needle (bright pink),
and a reverse needle (orange).

Each type comes with 2 needles, for a total of 10 needles.

By combining needles with different functions,
you can try a full range of techniques, from joining and tightening to surface texturing.

This set is recommended for those who:

[Spiral Needles]

A felting needle with a spiral-twisted tip.
It is suitable for compacting and tightening wool fibers.
Useful for joining parts and building a firm base efficiently.
Compatible with Clover and Hamanaka punch tools.
The needle can also be used by holding it directly.

Length: 7.8 cm

Size (from thickest to finest):

Spiral 38 / Spiral 40 / Spiral 42
The larger the number, the finer the needle.

[Twisted Star Needle]

A spiral-twisted needle with multiple barbs concentrated near the tip.
It firmly catches wool fibers and allows for fast and efficient felting.
Compared to spiral needles (purple, light blue, and dark brown),
it has more barbs concentrated near the tip, resulting in slightly stronger resistance when stabbing.
However, this allows the wool to compact more quickly in a shorter time.

[Reverse Needle]

A needle with barbs facing the opposite direction.
Instead of pushing fibers inward, it pulls fibers outward to create fine, fuzzy textures.
Suitable for adding hair details around areas such as the paws and mouth,
and for blending the boundary between firmly felted areas and implanted fibers.
Compatible with punch tools.
For detailed work, bundling 2–3 needles together with tape and using them by hand is recommended.
